Biomedical informatics is one of the fastest-growing interdisciplinary fields and is now offered as a graduate degree program at the University of Chicago Graham School. Qualified applicants have the opportunity to be part of this specialized program, the Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics (MScBMI). The program has been developed in collaboration with theUniversity of Chicago Pritzker School of MedicineComputation InstituteDepartment of Computer Science, and Department of Public Health Sciences. Students completing the program will be prepared with the necessary knowledge and technical skills to tackle everyday management issues and to guide large projects in clinical and research settings.

To learn more about the program, join us for an information session at the downtown University of Chicago Gleacher Center. From 6:00-6:30 pm, David McClintock, MD, Faculty Director, will lecture on “The Importance of Clinical Informatics in Healthcare Today.” After 6:30pm, there will be a short presentation about the MScBMI, Q&A, and time to speak one-on-one with program staff and faculty. Hors-d'oeuvres and beverages will be available.
