Biomedical informatics is one of the fastest-growing interdisciplinary fields and is now offered as a graduate degree program at the University of Chicago Graham School. Qualified applicants have the opportunity to be part of this specialized program, the Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics (MSc BMI). The program has been developed in collaboration with theUniversity of Chicago Pritzker School of MedicineComputation InstituteDepartment of Computer Science, and Department of Public Health Sciences. Students completing the program will be prepared with the necessary knowledge and technical skills to tackle everyday management issues and to guide large projects in clinical and research settings.

To learn more about the program, join us for an information session at the Knapp Center for Biomedical Discovery. From 12:00-12:30 pm, Cheng-Kai Kao, MD, one of the professors teaching in the program, will lecture on “How mHealth is Transforming Healthcare Today.” After 12:30pm, there will be a short presentation about the MScBMI, Q&A, and time to speak one-on-one with program staff and faculty. Lunch and beverages will be available.
